Question 1.
Who do you think Mr. Nath is ? Write a paragraph or two about him.
Answer:
Mr. Nath is a skinny and slim man. His face is covered in scars. He appears to have no friends and is a lonely man. On Sundays, just a visitor comes to see him. Lunch is shared amongst them. He seldom leaves his house and has modest habits. He favors normal, everyday cuisine. He tips well and pays cash for his meals.
Maya is wary of him because of his quiet demeanor and lack of social skills. She believes he is an escaped criminal from the police. She works very hard to look into his odd behavior because of this. There is just one buddy he has. He terrifies both kids and some adults. Nishad, however, does not think that he is a criminal. As a result, he gains compassion.

Question 2.
What else do you think Nishad and Maya will find out about him ? How? Will they ever be friends ? Think about these questions and write a paragraph or two to continue the story.
Answer:
Maya continues to believe that Mr. Nath is an escaped felon. However, Nishad disagrees. He believes Mr. Nath is an alone guy who craves companionship. Nishad makes an effort to be his buddy. Nishad keeps trying, so he does. Mr. Nath gradually begins to converse more openly with Nishad.
Nishad was told by Mr. Nath that he too was a family man. He also had a successful business. But when his house was destroyed by fire, all of his joy vanished. He had returned the same day after being gone on a business trip. Mr. Nath made every effort to rescue his family. But he was unable to. He lives a quiet life and is always alone himself because of this. When Nishad related the tale of Mr. Nath toher, she felt desperate because she had misunderstood Mr. Nath.
